A moment of Triumph

Norfolk Blood Bikes are celebrating the beginning of a new era in their relationship with Norfolk based, family run business, Lings Motor Group.
The team at Norfolk Triumph in Watton hade been supporting the charity for nearly a year by collaborating at promotional events to help increase awareness and with fundraising.
With the end of production of the NBB workhorse motorcycle, the Yamah FJR, the leadership team had been reviewing several options with different manufacturers over the previous year. Following a long-term test ride on a new Triumph Tiger 1200, the GT Pro (with a few additional extras) was eventually established as the new standard for Norfolk Blood Bikes.
The combination of features that deliver rider comfort and safety, load capacity, power when needed, visibility and road presence all contributed to the decision to make the Triumph Tiger a key part of the charity’s future.
The first four bikes joined the fleet, increasing the number to fifteen bikes deployed across the county. With additional resources, NBB volunteers will be able to access a vehicle more easily and without having to add too much additional mileage.
Continuing the tradition of naming the bikes, these ones are known as Pulse, Lady Ann, Tigger and Cpt.Kirk.
Having been very well received, the NBB team are sure there wil be further additions.
