Your Local Heroes 2025

Norfolk Blood Bikes were humbled and honoured, to be announced winners in the 'Uniformed & Emergency Services' category of the 2025 Local Hero Awards in King's Lynn.

The inspirational evening of Wednesday 23rd April will be etched in our memories for a very long time.

In a room full of extraordinary people doing incredible things for their communities, the Norfolk Blood Bikes team were publicly recognised for the contribution they make to the people of our county.

Following a number of tear-jerking nomination videos and many talented and worthy winners, a handful of the NBB team took to the stage at the King's Lynn Corn Exchange to receive the award on behalf of the 100+ volunteers spread across Norfolk.

Every single night and every day over weekends and bank holidays we will continue to deliver life saving and critical supplies to our hospitals, air ambulance and communities that need them.

Special thanks to -

The Hearts Milk Bank, Borough Council of King's Lynn & West Norfolk News & Events, The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHS Foundation Trust, East Anglian Air Ambulance Charity, Lings Norfolk Triumph, NHS Blood Donation, Norfolk Community Foundation, The National Lottery Community Fund and many, many more.
